Weiss Receives Grant from the Mayo Clinic

Dr. Dave Weiss received Year 1 funding for a new 5-year project from the Mayo Clinic for Project HoPe: Achieving Home Discharge for Institutionally-Bound Patients with PROMs, AI, and the EHR. The project, funded by the National Institute on Aging runs from 08/03/2022 to 04/30/2027. It follows and expands upon a prior five-year project funded through the Mayo Clinic and is concerned, in part, with the development of a multidimensional computerized adaptive assessment for measuring patient reports of their cognitive functioning as important predictors of post-hospital placement.
