BA Alumna Nova Bradford (‘17) named Knight-Hennessy Scholar

Stanford University recently announced its latest cohort of Knight-Hennessy scholars, including UMN Psychology alumna Nova Bradford.

Bradford transferred to the University of Minnesota in the fall of 2015. She completed a BA in Psychology in 2017 and an MSW in 2020. Since 2016 she has been working as a research associate at the Medical School's Institute for Sexuality and Gender Health. She also works as a therapist at Rainbow Health and has worked at The Bridge for Youth. She was a board member of the United States Association for Transgender Health and the City of Minneapolis Gender Equity Council.

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program cultivates and supports a highly-engaged, multidisciplinary and multicultural community of graduate students from across Stanford University, and delivers a diverse collection of educational experiences, preparing graduates to address complex challenges facing the world.
