Graduate Student Receives Fulbright Research Fellowship

Congratulations to Qurat-ul-ain Gulamhussein, PhD Candidate in Counseling Psychology, for being selected to receive a Fulbright Research Fellowship in Jordan for 2022-23. Her research will focus on how Muslim women in Jordan conceptualize and engage with culturally sensitive mental health services. She will work closely with faculty members at the University of Jordan and Yarmouk University. Qurat-ul-ain is just one of four Department of Psychology graduate students (Clelia Mannino, PhD ‘11, Zinta Sarma, PhD ‘05 and Lee Anna Clark, PhD ‘82) being awarded a Fulbright. 

The Fulbright is a prestigious grant for undergraduate and graduate students to research, study, or teach abroad for an academic year.
