Kunkel Awarded Undergraduate Research Grant for Study on el Ingenio Mexicano and Mental Health Care Utilization

Psychology major Zach Kunkel has received the 2023-24 Fall Mamie Phipps Clark Diversity Research Grant from Psi Chi, International Honor Society in Psychology. The grant of $900 was awarded to Kunkel for the research project titled “The Impact of el Ingenio Mexicano on Mental Health Care Utilization.” This distinguished award is dedicated to highlighting research projects by Psi Chi students with a specific focus on addressing diverse populations and related issues.
