Rineman Receives Travel Award for UROP Project

Congratulations to Rachel Rineman for receiving a $500 Mortensen Travel Award for the project “How social dominance beliefs impact couples’ navigation of power role in playful interactions.” This project under the direction of Dr. Jeffry Simpson was presented at the SPSP Annual Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Rineman states that this award funded the trip to the Personality and Social Psychology Annual Conference and helped her “ to make important professional connections before entering graduate school in Family Social Science this fall.”
