CLA Student Ambassadors
The CLA Student Ambassadors are a group of dynamic undergraduate student leaders who represent the College of Liberal Arts to alumni, donors, and prospective students and their families.
CLA ambassadors are chosen through a selection process that includes an application and an interview. Applications are accepted in March of each year from current College of Liberal Arts students who meet membership criteria. Interviews are granted to qualified applicants who are selected through a competitive prescreening review by a committee of current ambassadors and CLA staff.Ambassadors help prepare for and host a variety of collegiate events and activities throughout the year. They develop skills to enhance teamwork, hone presentation skills, increase self-motivation and awareness, and build creative problem-solving strategies. Ambassadors benefit from their work by developing professional relationships with distinguished alumni and leaders in the community, as well as faculty and administrators.
