Blain Awarded MAGS Distinguished Master's Thesis

Congratulations to psychology graduate student, Scott Blain, for his recent award of the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) Distinguished Master’s Thesis. His thesis was selected among applicants from all social science disciplines at the U of M. Blain will receive a $500 honorarium and will be nominated to represent the U of M in the MAGS Annual Distinguished Master’s Thesis competition. The thesis, titled “Functional Brain Networks and the Openness-Psychosis Continuum” earned him a Psychology  MA in the Personality, Individual Differences, and Behavior Genetics (PIB) area. Blain is advised by Colin DeYoung, professor in the Department of Psychology.
