Del Toro Again Achieves Top-Cited Author Status

Juan Del Toro receives an award for having a top-cited article in the Journal of Research on Adolescence. The article, “An Intersectional Approach to Understanding the Academic and Health Effects of Policing Among Urban Adolescents” is expected to immediately impact the community. This longitudinal study focuses on the examination of how police stops may have direct and indirect effects on a child’s adjustment academically and how such visits can lead to disadvantages for particular adolescents.
