Del Toro Recipient of APA’s Boyd McCandless Award

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Juan Del Toro has been named a recipient of the American Psychological Association Division 7’s Boyd McCandless Award. This award stands as a testament to Del Toro’s substantial contributions to the field of developmental psychology since earning his PhD.

The Boyd McCandless Award recognizes a young scientist “who has made a distinguished theoretical contribution to developmental psychology, has conducted programmatic research of distinction, or has made a distinguished contribution to the dissemination of developmental science.” The award recognizes continuous contributions rather than a single outstanding work.
