Legge Recipient of Monotype Imaging Award

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Gordon Legge and co-investigator Dr. Yingzi Xiong are recipients of  $13,855 for the project “Fonts and Reading Performance Phase 1” from Circle K Procurement and Brands Limited and Monotype Imaging. The project aims to evaluate the impact of different fonts on reading performance by administering the MNREAD test to participants. This test measures reading acuity, critical print size, and maximum reading speed under normal and simulated low-vision conditions. By comparing the results across five different fonts, the study is expected to reveal any small differences that exist between them in terms of speed, acuity, and size.
