Locher Receives CLA Outstanding Service Award for 2021-22

A big congratulations to Holley Locher, PhD, Chief of Staff in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota for receiving a CLA Outstanding Service Award for 2021-22.This award recognizes staff and faculty who have provided exceptional service within their department and beyond. Awardees’ efforts must have exceeded the regular duties of a staff or faculty member and awardees must have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the University. Our department is so fortunate to have Holley as our Chief of Staff. As a recipient of this award, Locher will receive $1,500 and a certificate of recognition.

Some kind words about Holley from her nominators…

Holley is a strong, well-liked, and trusted leader for a large, complex CLA department. She is fun with a strong sense of mission and serious with a flair for design.

Her many critical contributions have sustained, improved, and enriched not only our department, but CLA and the University as well. This has been even more true during the past year and one-half during which Holley has played a major role in helping us deal with the pandemic, racial injustice issues, and the budget shortfall all at once.

Join us in celebrating our staff. CLA is virtually hosting the CLA Outstanding Service Award ceremony next Wednesday at 2 pm on YouTube.
