Minnesota Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools Conference fMRI lecture

On May 10, 2024, the Department of Psychology hosted 50 psychology high school teachers from all over Minnesota. Michael Berndt, a psychology teacher at Apollo High School in St. Cloud, MN, organized the Minnesota Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (MNTOPSS) conference with psychology faculty Randy FletcherLiza Meredith, and Cheryl Olman

Bonnie Klimes-Dougan delivered a keynote on “Depression and Self-Harm in Adolescents.” Afterward, the Minnesota psychology teachers had the opportunity to join various sessions:

This professional development opportunity gives high school psychology teachers an insight into the current work of our department's various labs, programs, and areas.
