Research Ethics Week is an annual week-long series of college and department-led educational opportunities focused on professional development and best practices to promote, maintain, and model high standards of ethics and integrity in research.
Liberal Arts Technologies and Innovation Services (LATIS) Workshops
LATIS offers a series of workshops created by our experts that are free and open to all faculty and graduate students. Join the LATIS Research Workshops Google Group to be the first to learn about workshops. Joining the group is highly recommended as these workshops are popular and often fill to capacity. CLA Data Science Initiative (DSI)
The College of Liberal Arts embraces the innovative methods of scholarly research and exploration enabled by data science, and critically evaluates the ethical implications and cultural biases exposed in and through its algorithms, data sets, and tools. Our goal is to prepare and support our researchers and students to justly address the grand challenges facing our communities and our world.
Minnesota Population Center
The Minnesota Population Center (MPC) provides workshops to faculty, staff, and students with encouragement to present their research and other works in progress and to pursue professional training and development. Workshops are scheduled on Fridays from 12:15pm-1:15pm during the academic year.
