New Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Laura Garbes
Joining UMN Sociology this fall is Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Laura Garbes. Dr. Garbes is a sociologist with a PhD from Brown University, and studies racism, whiteness, and cultural organizations. Her current research project explores the racialization of sound in public broadcasting.
