UMN Sociology Lecturer

The Department of Sociology in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Lecturer position beginning Fall Semester 2024 (August 26, 2024). The position will be a three-year appointment with full benefits and the possibility of renewal. Lecturers teach three courses each semester. Lecturers are expected to teach in-person classes when in-person classes are assigned to them, and our lecturers are assigned primarily in-person instruction.  Lecturers are expected to provide outstanding teaching, as well as engage in professional activity and service related to the pedagogical mission of the program and university.
