Introduction to the Style Guide

The CLA style guide is used to ensure consistency across all CLA department websites. The style guide covers guidelines regarding diction & grammar, formatting, media, punctuation, and tone. Anyone who edits or adds content to a CLA department website or the CLA website may refer to the style guide. For style questions that are not addressed by the CLA Style Guide, refer to The Chicago Manual of Style. University of Minnesota staff and students can access The Chicago Manual of Style online.
