Conferencing
The Language Center offers a variety of conferencing options for students and instructors including Classrooms, Small Rooms, and Checkout Equipment.
Classrooms & Small Rooms
Classrooms Jones 30 & 35: These full-size computer classrooms include an instructor-facing camera and microphone for conferencing or recording. Jones 35 also includes a secondary audience-facing camera and microphone.
Small Zoom Rooms Jones 127A and 135B: These Zoom Room are ideal for conferencing with Zoom. They feature active speaker tracking, wireless screen-sharing and more.
Small Room Jones 110D: This room features a Cisco SX-10 video codec with external microphone, and it can be used with Zoom or other conferencing platforms.
Checkout Equipment
A small, portable Logitech ConferenceCam Connect is available for reservation and checkout. This all-in-one conferencing unit includes a camera, microphone and speaker, and connects to a computer. A limited number of conferencing accessories, such as webcams and microphones are also available.
