Jones 135 is now the SpeakEasy Lounge & Event Space, offering a versatile, comfortable, and collaborative space for all university community members.
Whether you need a quiet spot to focus, a place for group discussions, or a venue for hosting events, the SpeakEasy is designed to meet your diverse needs. This multi-purpose space will seamlessly accommodate all your academic, professional, and social activities.

It's a Lounge!
When the room is not reserved, all are welcome to use it as a walk-in space for studying, group activities and more. Absolute silence is not required.
It's an Event Space!
The room can be reserved by instructors, faculty, staff, and student group leaders for up to 60 people (depending on room layout) for conferencing, presentations, social events, information fairs and more.
It's also a Zoom Room!
Jones 135 now possesses Zoom Room capabilities! Using a controller and monitor, along with a pair of speakers and not one but two cameras to choose from, guests may participate in and record Zoom calls the same way they would in our other two Zoom Rooms, 127A and 135B. If you wish to use 135 or any of our other Zoom Room spaces, then, when making your reservation, please indicate the type of activity you wish to engage in when using the space (e.g., "Zoom call" or "Zoom").
