VoxBox Podcasting Studio
Located in Jones 37, the VoxBox Podcasting Studio is an audio recording studio reserved for the University of Minnesota community in fostering the creation of educational and research-oriented audio. While not a dedicated video studio, video recordings are available upon request, and remote guests will see local guests via video feed. The studio prioritizes advancements in language education, focusing on second language teaching and Linguistics. The space is available for graduate students, instructors, and staff for relevant studio-quality broadcasts, podcasts, and other recordings. Instructors looking to have their undergraduates record for a class project may submit an inquiry request for approval by studio staff, but undergraduates are ineligible to reserve the studio for independent studio time, broadcasts, podcasts, or individual projects.
