National Student Exchange

Similar to study abroad, National Student Exchange (NSE) is another chance, prior to your senior year, to increase your understanding of literatures and languages from diverse cultural perspectives. Past English majors have studied at other universities in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and all over the US and Canada.

Courses from any National Student Exchange will be reviewed for possible inclusion in the student’s English major. These credits count as transfer credits in the degree program. Students are encouraged to discuss their National Student Exchange plans with an undergraduate advisor well in advance of applying for the program.

Contact the University’s NSE advisors at nseadv@class.cla.umn.edu, 612-626-2044, or by inquiring at Career Services.
