Wiglesworth Receives SSCP Award

Congratulations to Andrea Wigelsworth for receiving the 2022 Outstanding Student Researcher Award from the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP). This award recognizes outstanding graduate students for their contributions to the science of clinical psychology. Recipients receive $100 and a feature in the SSCP Newsletter.  

Andrea’s research focuses on advancing clinical psychology’s understanding of “mechanisms of suicidality among young people" and assesses "the impact of chronic stress on systems across multiple levels of analysis in both general population and Native American youth." She approaches research with a deeply collaborative spirit and aims to harness diverse perspectives in advancing suicide prevention. 

Andrea is currently a fourth-year student and works with Dr. Bonnie Klimes-Dougan
