Degrees

The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences offers multiple graduate degrees:

• Doctorate in audiology (AuD)
• PhD in speech-language-hearing sciences
• MA in speech-language pathology
• MA/PhD program
• Joint AuD/PhD program

In addition, we offer a department certificate for the bilingual and multicultural emphasis program.  

We also offer a speech-language-hearing sciences graduate minor to students enrolled in other University graduate programs.

Accreditation Statement 

The Master of Arts (M.A.) education program in speech-language pathology {residential} and the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) education program in audiology {residential} at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.
