Professor Joshua Page accepts the Scholar of the College Award

UMN Sociology Professor Joshua Page & Associate Professor Enid Logan were honored for their research, teaching, and service at CLA's Faculty & Staff Excellence Luncheon on May 2, 2023.

Professor Joshua Page was named a Scholar of the College, an award presented annually by the College of Liberal Arts to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievement by faculty in the college. Scholars are faculty members who have taken intellectual risks and whose work has achieved a high level of distinction, and has transformed, or promises to transform, the ways in which knowledge is constructed in a particular discipline or set of disciplines.

Associate Professor Enid Logan is a 2023 recipient of the Arthur "Red" and Helene B. Motley Exemplary Teaching Award. This award is named in honor of Arthur “Red” Motley, who was an alumnus of the University, a charter member of the University of Minnesota Foundation and a recipient of the University’s highest honor, the Regents Award. In keeping with the qualities embodied by Red Motley, this award is designed to reward top educators who demonstrate their passion and commitment to teaching and is made possible through a gift from the family and friends of Red Motley and alumni of the College.
