Undergraduate Minor in Spanish Studies

The Spanish studies minor focuses on Spanish and Latin American literary, cultural, and linguistic studies. Students begin with language skills courses, followed by courses in Hispanic literature, culture, and linguistics. Courses with specific skills focus and service-learning components are also available. The department encourages minors to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking area.

Students can declare the Spanish Studies minor in an appointment throughout September 19th. Starting September 22nd, students need to attend a Zoom Spanish Studies minor declaration session. We have 4-5 sessions per week.
