We aim to train versatile, thinking dance artists and citizens capable of embracing challenges and opportunities in the field of dance and beyond.
Dance faculty and visiting artists come from a wide range of professional experiences. The sequence of technical training courses in the dance curriculum aims to maximize each faculty member’s strengths and teaching philosophies throughout four years of training in the program. Aesthetic differences and approaches are embraced by the dance program. The dance faculty believe that a wide spectrum of training better prepares students for future work in the field.
