As an international student and psychology major, Carrie Kuang (BA ’16) was prepared to study the culture around her. But what started as a natural consequence of moving from China to Minnesota, became a full-fledged honors project: What exactly is Minnesota Nice?
Psychology major Erin Begnel's passion for research, coupled with the many opportunities at the University, has allowed her to further explore her interests in the fields of neuroscience and psychology.
Tessa Loeffler is an undergraduate psychology peer advisor and office assistant. “The most influential thing I have learned from these roles is the overwhelming number of careers and diverse paths that are possible with a major in psychology. I love talking with students who come into the office and hearing their extremely different perspectives on psychology and how they are going to apply those perspectives to their future careers.”
“The beautiful thing about statistics is that it is used in everything. It’s just used in everything.” Senior Blake Nhul has a boundless passion for statistics that has led him to co-found the University’s Statistics Club and excel in both academic and professional settings.
