The University of Minnesota Jazz Festival is returning to an in-person format for 2022! It will occur on Friday, February 25th, and Saturday, February 26th, 2022. You and your students will reap the benefits of this exciting lineup of clinicians and guest artists. This year's featured guest artists are the Peterson Family.

The event will begin on Friday, February 25th at 7:00pm with a performance by the University of Minnesota Jazz Combos in Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall. On Saturday, February 26th, visiting bands will perform a 20-minute set in Ted Mann Concert Hall and receive a 40-minute clinic from our esteemed clinicians and guest artists. The event will culminate with a final concert in Ted Mann Concert Hall, featuring the University of Minnesota Jazz Ensembles and guest artist at 7:00pm on Saturday, February 26th.
The entry fee for the University of Minnesota Jazz Festival will be $375 per ensemble. Performance slots are limited, so please register as soon as possible to assure your spot.

2022 COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Visiting schools must have bell covers or flute masks for winds and brass musicians. This "instrument PPE" must be in use while actively playing instruments inside. All University of Minnesota faculty, staff, students, and visitors must abide by the UMN Face Covering Protocol while inside campus buildings.
