My name is Elle Pickett (She/They) and I’m your peer advisor for this academic year! I am a Junior earning my B.A. with majors in Sociology, LCJ & Psychology. After graduation, I plan to get my master’s degree in Human Resources. 

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and am a true Southern girl through and through. I travel back and forth to see my family, but I plan to stay in Minnesota for the long run! I chose the U of M due to our very high rankings in Soc and Psych. Outside of school and work, I enjoy swimming, playing video games, and spending time with my three roommates. 

Two truths and one lie about me:

  • I’ve been to four different countries.
  • I’ve been to over 50+ concerts.
  • I’ve broken my arm three separate times.

I am so excited for this upcoming year as your peer advisor. I look forward to getting to know everyone, and my utmost priority is to be a helpful and familiar face to you all on campus!
