Welcome from the Peer Advisor

My name is Sophie Schroeder (she/her) and I’m excited to be the peer advisor for this academic school year! I am a senior earning my B.A. degree with a major in Sociology LCJ. I am planning on taking a gap year after graduation to travel and work as a paralegal before applying to law school.

I was born and raised in Madison, WI and plan to go back there for my gap year to spend time with family, although I absolutely love the Twin Cities and want to come back and visit as much as possible. Outside of academics, I love to go on walks through the city, try new restaurants, paint by numbers, and bake for my ten roommates.

As a fellow student, I am so excited for this upcoming year as your peer advisor. I look forward to getting to know everyone and my priority is to be a helpful and familiar face to you all on campus!
