My name is Jason Chang and I will be the Peer Adviser for this academic school year. I am a senior graduating this Spring with a B.S. degree and a major in Sociology: Law, Criminology, and Deviance. My sub-plan is Policy Analysis. I am an Army ROTC cadet here on campus and am open to share my experiences! As a peer adviser, my goal is to stimulate your interests and goals as a student and share the opportunities that can be found on campus to help you succeed. I’m a board member of UMSA where I help plan and execute events. I also know quiet places to study or areas worth exploring around the Twin Cities.

Outside my academic work, I volunteer in a mentoring program for youth where I help with reading, tutor homework, and providing friendship. My hobbies include camping and fixed-gear cycling! One fun fact is that I
biked from Canada to Mexico on the Pacific Coast highway back in 2014.
