CLA Transfer Peer Mentor Program

The CLA Transfer Peer Mentor Program enriches the student experience through personalized connections with mentors. This one-on-one peer pairing ensures that students have a dedicated supporter invested in their success, someone poised to listen, inspire, assist in overcoming challenges, and identify opportunities. Students benefit from insights into academic expectations, guidance on tackling obstacles, and valuable career advice. Simultaneously, mentors expand their networks and enhance their professional and leadership skills.

How it Works

Students will be matched with a peer mentor based on common interests, background, academics, and/or professional aspirations.

What do Mentors and Mentees Discuss?

How will my major impact my professional options?
How do I balance the demands of school, responsibilities, and socializing?
How can I set myself up for academic, social, and career success?
How do I make connections with peers and professional contacts?

In short, this program helps unlock your potential.

Pretty great, right? To get started, students and mentors register and complete an online survey to paint a holistic picture of their interests and experiences.
