String Auditions
All string players interested in joining University Symphony Orchestra or University Philharmonic Orchestra need to audition. For Campus Orchestras, simply register and attend the first class meeting to take the class. Please contact us by email at this address with any questions or concerns.

Fall 2024 string auditions will take place will take place in-person during the first week of class, September 3-6. See schedule below.

Please fill out an Ensemble Audition Interest Form to be notified when audition materials and audition sign-up form are available. Course registration will occur upon completion of a successful audition, and auditioned ensembles begin fall rehearsals the week of September 9, 2024.
All strings auditioning for University Symphony Orchestra must prepare the following materials for their instrument (audition packets available by early June).

All strings auditioning for University Philharmonic Orchestra must prepare the following materials for their instrument (audition packets available by early June). Students preparing these materials will not be eligible for placement in USO.
