Individualized Degrees

Students can declare a concentration in psychology through individualized degree programs. Start by reaching out to the program to learn more about their process:

Individualized degree programs require you to write a proposal. Example proposals and guidelines are found on their websites (IDP and ICP). You can review psychology syllabi for course descriptions to help with your proposal. Attend our drop-ins for any questions during your proposal writing. Seats in courses reserved for psychology majors (3801 and 3001W) are only open to individualized degree students who have an approved Psychology concentration.

Email your completed proposal to [email protected] for approval.
