Undergraduate Minor in Economics

The Department of Economics offers two minor options: the economics minor and the econometrics minor.

The economics minor is useful for students interested in developing a foundation in economic theory to complement their business, engineering, computer science, or social science majors.

Both minors require the following courses to declare:

  • ECON 1101 - Principles of Microeconomics
  • ECON 1102 - Principles of Macroeconomics
  • MATH 1271 - Calculus I
