For Fall semester 2020, many School of Music ensembles are currently aiming to rehearse and perform smaller scale, in-person, conducted ensemble repertoire. Social distancing and other safety considerations will be in accordance with the College of Liberal Arts and the University of Minnesota policies and protocols, alongside Minnesota Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control recommendations. Applied voice studios, choral ensembles, and opera are committed to remotely delivering lessons, rehearsals, and curriculum to begin the Fall 2020 semester for the time being. Students may opt to fulfill their ensemble participation virtually under the guidance of their course instructor. Please visit the webpages for specific ensembles linked below for more information regarding ensemble formats.
School of Music ensembles are open to all students throughout the University. Some School of Music ensembles require an audition in order to register for the course, these requirements are noted in the ensemble descriptions along with meeting times.
